The Akihabara Washington, slated to open in May

A large block of rooms has been reserved for the use of PhotoFest Japan attendees at the Akihabara Washington Hotel at a special, discounted rate. Just a five-minute walk from the show venue, the hotel’s old location was torn down last year, and a brand-new Akihabara Washington will open in mid-May. A Japanese “business”-type hotel, the rooms are on the small side, but will be ultra-clean and modern.

15 sq. meters of brand-new modernity can be yours!

The rooms will have free Internet, flat-panel TVs with satellite TV, shower toilets, refrigerators and many other state-of-the-art amenities.

Attendees are free to stay anywhere they’d like, of course, but the Washington is by far the best option for those who’d like to stay close to the workshop venue in Akihabara. If you’re interested in staying in the Washington, please contact us at photofest@hlj.com after you’ve signed up for the event, confirm your dates, and we’ll hold a room for you!

The cost per night for the Akihabara Washington Hotel is 11,550 yen for the nights of June 29 and July 2, and 13,225 for June 30, July 1 and July 3.
